I've seen a lot of Triple-K for almost-reasonable prices, but real Colt seem to be in the $80-$180 range. Are there any mags out there better than Triple-K but not collector-expensive? The pistol is in kind'a rough shape, so I want to shoot it more than I want to keep it behind glass. |

| I have one Tripple K mag in addition to some Colt mags for my first model and second model Pocket Hammerless and use it in both guns with no complaint. What ever you do, don't keep your 1903 under glass regardless its condition. If it works reliably, it is too good a carry piece to lay aside. |

A Triple-K that works well? Considering it's one of the ... well, the only option that doesn't cost a significant percentage of what I have in the pistol, I guess I'll have to try one. Numrich has these in stock, but I'm going to hold back and see if I find a price that sits better with my wallet/subconscious. |

The US Armament mags are excellent. I bought a couple to use with my 1903 to spare wear & tear on my originals. They look very similar to originals too. But as the poster above said, they’re out of stock. It may be worth emailing them to see if they plan on restocking? FYI - I’ve purchased Triple Ks for a few of my vintage pistols (Mauser 1914, Ortgies .32 & H&R Self-loader) out of shear desperation. All of them “kind of work” with limitations - fit, feeding issues, etc. |

Once I know if it will work right, I'll consider one of the Triple-K mags. I'm automatically resistant to buying that brand, but if it's what's available, well... If I get one I'll give a review |

If you are not satisfied, I am sure they will allow a return/refund. Here are some of the differences I have noticed. The mag on the left (pre-two tone era) appears to be a "correct" mag for the date of my 1903. The floorplate is highly polished which is very unusual in reproduction magazines. Even with all that, keep in mind that the "original" mag might very well be a reproduction also. After comparisons with other advertisements for Triple K, I believe the "OE" ones CDNN sold me are Triple K. They did run though, so I can overlook the accidental purchase of TK mags.
