I read that 1911 mags work with the 45 models. Are 9mm 1911 models compatible with Kahr pistols?

No.
The 9mm Kahr pistol magazines and pistols are much smaller then .45 mags or pistols.

No worky, just tried a 9mm mag for my Ronin in a Kahr K9.

Kahr denies 1911 mags fit in their .45 models, but the dimensions seem very similar and I've heard they work.

Complete no go. The Kahr mag is shorter and slightly skinnier.
