Picked up a Holosun 507C GR and a Streamlight TLR 7 HL-X Sub for it as well over the Thanksgiving day sales. Spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to find holsters that supported that combo and is one the things that sucks for being and XD/m series owner. Almost rage bought a Shadow Systems pistol because of it but came to my senses. Ended up with a non light bearing holster, which plenty can be found but not thrilled with it when it arrived, so off for more research this weekend as I can get the Crossbreed Supertuck with a RDS cut. More than likely won't get to the range this weekend to sight in the GD, but will try to get some pictures up with the dot/light on and of course with the line up of other XD/m's I've got. |

Mine is waiting for me at the dealer. As soon as the wait is over. Looking forward to it. I have a 9tactical 357 tactical and a 45 4” and tactical. As well as a XDs45 4.0. The price point is amazing and the fact they kept the mags backwards comparable is awesome. I have some beretta 30rd mags I need to mod for this too. The new compensated echelon has my attention as well. Been carrying the XD 45 tac lately. Hard to argue with 14 rounds of 45. |

Finally had time to hit the range this morning to sight in the dot. Grip tape from PRP feels good, the grey is brighter than some I have ordered before, not sure If I will leave it or order some black. Like all my other XD/m's this is a great shooter. The only thing that pisses me off and it's the same for XD/m's in general is IWB holster options with Streamlight's. Attached File |

Does it work well? It's functional, but IMO not necessary, I've never had an issue with racking the slides of any of my XD/m series pistols whether it is the XDSC, XD45 Service, XDm45C, XDm 9's. I imagine for some with impacted or weaker grip strength it might help. It does feel good, I will admit that. |

Does make it look and feel more svelte than the chonky block that is my XDSC slide. |

Wanted to insert a grip zone joke in here but god damn they are just getting old. The flare is nice. Not very big and anything that help in what may be a potentially stressful situation isn’t bad. I’m hopeful they make a long slide version. I have the original mod 1 long slides in 9, 357 and 45. The long slide 45 gets carried the most of all my Springfield XDs. With an XDs45 4.0 being in second place. Will get the new one to the range as soon as Christmas is over. |
