I bought this a number of years ago and the Luger thread in GD made me think of it again. It's clearly been re-blued and most of the markings scrubbed off. This has left me unable to date it using conventional methods nor able to ID the specific model. It's chambered in 9mm, shoots well, and is still very tight. I'm going to take a minor stab at it until the real Luger experts chime in. Unfortunately, the important markings have been completely machined off, making identification impossible, IMO. However, I'd say it's a 1908 or 1914 pattern, probably commercial, with some matching parts. While it looks really nice, I don't believe it would be a collector item due to so much machine work sanitizing it. Still, it looks like the work was done very well. |

Good shooter with a nice finish. The ones that I have shot seem to good shooters, but I've had to do spring replacements. Wolff/Gunsprings has a good kit. |

It's a Bulgarian contract Luger imported by Interarms in the 1960s. Lift up the extractor, I bet the writing on the side is cyrillic. |
