I have a bunch of g17 magazines and don't want buy basepads for any of them. So I'm looking for a Glock 17 gen5 magwell that works well with stock magazines. My preference is for one piece metal. Size and weight is of no concern. This is more for dryfire durability. Color doesn't matter as long as it's black, brown, or green and not shiny. Top contenders are: Overwatch Preciscion SLR Springer Precision Ed Sherman Design Any one with views on those or other recommendations? |

I have had the SLR EDC magwell on my duty gen4 31 for years with no issues. Feeds all mags (Glock and MecGar) that I have. The finish has scratches and stuff from bumping into everything but it works. I have had the Have Blue on my current issued gen5 45 for awhile now and experience is the same. |

I use a Rival Arms magwell on my Gen 5 G17. It's solid and works with factory mags and mags fitted with Milspin baseplates. Attached File Attached File |
