Looking to try a pistol dot, have a fullsize 9mm dagger ordered with dr base. What is a good and cheaper option my 1st one? Will be a ccw and cola type gun |

The Dagger is tricky in that not all Docters are made the same. It's said that the dagger slides were made for the Vortex Venom and not the Vortex Viper. Some people have used the Primary Arms SLX RS-10 by either filing slightly on the back of the optic or the slide itself. Personally, considering the value of a Docter cut Dagger slide, I think I would rather modify that then ruining the warranty on the optic. https://www.primaryarms.com/primary-arms-slx-rs-10-1x23mm-mini-reflex-sight-3-moa-dot Of course, there's always all sorts of newer mega Chinese Optics of various names that you could try. I have one of these coming in tomorow for a slide I bought knowing the optic was going to be a challenge... | Old topic came up, went with crimson trace, green and it has been solid so far, used in -0 weather, on tractor etc. EDC rig, no complaints other than battery life, if thats valid 6 months and on 2nd battery, changed 2 weeks ago, its always moving or shaking awake. |
