Sometimes I'll use plain Chapstick on the lens before a heavy shooting session. |

I've said it 100 times. I hate small guns. Here's just a little more proof My brand new to me, unfired Gen4 G21 with factory night sights. Shoots like silk. I can't believe how much fun shooting .45 is with this thing, and I thought my 1911's were fun!  And further proof that I REALLY HATE small guns for carry.......  That's right, I'm carrying a Gen4 G21 IWB with a TLR-1s attached. I'm pretty sure I'm what a lot of people would deem insane. The holster that took me about an hour and a half to form with a heat gun. Normally I'd oven the Kydex, but the small 12x6 piece was just a little easier to mess with down in my gun room without going back and forth to the kitchen. I've been carrying it IWB for the last 4 days and can't believe that it's still lighter than my Springfield GI 1911 at 8+1. I'm loaded 13+1 with a damn light! Yee HAA! |

I like them quite a bit. After all my research, the three it came down to was the Barnes Tac-XPD HP +P 115 gr., Corbon DPX HP +P 115gr., and Federal HST HP +P 124gr. (all in 9mm). I actually ended up buying all three and a handful of boxes of each. I ran 100 rounds of each through my 2022, and I liked the barnes the most. They all cycled flawlessly and performed well in expansion shooting at jugs of water, but that's all the ballistics testing I did. The only real reason I prefer the barnes over the other two was that muzzle flash was quite reduced during night shooting. That, and they look cool
