These are working guns and get carried quite a bit as you can tell from the wear. No safe queens in my house. The only thing I don't like about the SC is that huge billboard that S&W was putting on them when they first came out (maybe they still do, haven't checked for awhile. The PC 945-1 is a heavy brute, but very accurate.

Still have my first 1911 a AMT Longslide Hardballer but not recoginazible as only frame now. That slide went straight to a ODI Viking Seecamp DA frame and I had a Colt Series 70s blued slide on it with Smith K frame sights. Later it got a Michagian Armenment System Metalified slide which the slide, bbl and bushing Magnaported. Still my carry gun for nearly 30 years now.
for cheap range training throw on the Colt .22LR conversion. 
a year or so ago got a Double Star railed frame and building that one. Still need to fit my ambi safety. MAS slide/DS frame and AMT frame with Ithaca slide. 
Since I came into the Army in 83' the M1911A1 was standard issue. Been back and forth between it and the M9, and during the last decade have carried both down range. Here is my last M1911/A1 that I had in 08' down range. Frame is a 1916 dated Colt. Could say she been thru alot.
