People will have different experiences with each brand. My first Kimber has 14,000+ rounds through it, and it is great. My second needed to be sent back to Kimber as soon as it arrived due to a poorly made slide. It was gone 4-5 weeks and came back perfect. It is a great pistol. My LaRue OBR 556 was a piece of crap. It never fed, it was not accurate (my 16 inch Armalite was more accurate and flawless), and even after being sent back for poor manufacturing quality and problems ON MY DIME, it was still nonfunctional. I would never own another LaRue even if it was given to me. Kimber may have its problems, but at least it's not a LaRue. |
I am advocating that we change our form of government to one based on strange women lying in ponds distributing swords in a farcical aquatic ceremony. It can't be any worse.

Noticed something similar with a Glock I just put a magwell on but I’m pushing the slide stop up instead a safety. So I’ve got to work on my grip with the 2k11 when it gets back and continue with the Glock I’ve been using for competition the last few years. Was pleasantly pleased with the 2k11. With the way it stayed on target while firing the 50 rds I put through it before sending back. It was almost as if it took me longer to realize I was still on target than it should have. Definitely was like some reviews I’ve seen where they say it’s almost as if the gun is saying what are you waiting on. Can’t wait to get it back and put case through it to see how it can perform. |

Kagwerks (or whatever they changed their name to) Glock slide stop lever. I have it on my duty Glock and carry Glocks. I'm still on the fence between a 2K11 pro and a kds9c for a new carry gun. |
