Kimber Micro 9 - safety won't throw on with hammer back..

Is my handgun buggered up? I've seen reviews online with folks cocked and locked; I can't get it to throw the safety up after the hammer is back..

If you take your thumb and move the hammer back all the way, will the safety go on? If so, it needs a very minor adjustment with a file.
