So Apex says on their website that their trigger kit that is for the Shield 2.0 will work on everything BUT the Shield X. I called Apex and what was told is basically they will not say that anything they sell is compatible with the Shield X because they do not have a Shield X to inspect but hope to sometime in the future. So...Is that anything that is different between the Shield Plus and the Shield X other than the length of the grip (which wouldn't affect anything) |

It is not a safe assumption to make that SW did not change the trigger somehow when they went to the X. The most conservative option would be to wait for Apex to confirm compatibility before doing anything. For example, IIRC, the Hellcat Pro actually uses a slightly different trigger than the standard Hellcat. Apex sells the same parts kit for both models, but PRP sells a different parts kit for the Pro and non-Pro Hellcat. |
