It looks like Tisas has cut their 9mm single stack models way down. Just 5 9mm models showing on their website. No more 9mm Carry. No more 9mm Duty. No more 9mm Raider. No more 9mm SS guns. No 9mm railed guns except the Nightstalker. There were quite a few guns I was hoping to get that are no longer available.

| I've been wanting to get a 9mm 1911 for awhile now and had kept an eye on Tisas. I'm a bit disappointed to see they don't have as many options now. I know DS 9mm 1911s are suddenly everywhere, but I've shot some and just doesn't excite me over regular 9mms. |
I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy.

I’m just all around kind of disappointed in their direction lately. Instead of fixing their messed up rail, they just killed the railed commander off entirely. This is even more laughable when you can get a Night Stalker commander with a proper rail but only with a bushing comp. The DS9 was awesome at $700. For the $1000 it goes for now, why not just get a US made 2011? These guns blew everyone away but the price increases blew them off everyone’s radar. Their Match pistol appears to be dead in the water. They sell a full rail Night Stalker in Turkey but not here. Can we slow down on the bob tail cuts? They’re cool but not loved so much that they have to be the majority of the line up. |

The standard bushing is also in the box if you prefer to ditch the comp and have a shorter gun. The standard bushing is black, not cerakoted grey. |

Companies quit making certain models because they don't sell. The market for 9mm 1911s is no where near as large as the 45 market. I've owned one in my life. I'm hard pressed to name any of my shooting colleagues that have ever had a 9mm 1911. If you see something a company has that you want, buy it. Companies change their model lines all the time, in all industries. |

It could be the fact that Tisas was winding down their relationship with SDS when this thread kicked off and started setting up their own direct importer. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the 9mm models come back. Check their new website and send an email if you don’t see something. https://tisasarmsusa.com/ I’m a .45 Tisas enthusiast (I want that Raider with the optic mount!) but I’m sure they’ll take care of the 9mm market. |

Off the top of my head I can't think of a single person in my shooting crew that owns one. I had one eons ago, a Rock Island. It was nice, did what it was supposed to, but just never fit in collection. |
