I have a higher end Turk 1911. Its their $800 gun, not the $400 gun. It shoots well, has been reliable and I really dig the black hard chrome finish, slide, frame, barrel. It seems damned near impervious to wear. I discovered that the link pin is not staked. This has not caused any function issues, but does require care not to lose it when disassembled for cleaning and making sure its properly centered for reassemble. Thoughts from experts? Concerns? |

Won't hurt anything but you will lose it and the link at some point and they are both sneaky little bastards. I've done it fitting links and never had a problem. |
