| I’m close to pulling the trigger on one. Leaning P35 with fiber sight. It’s listed as having a Cerakote finish. I have a SA35. Any issues with my thinking ? I seen where some fiber sights fell out. I figure I can take a tiny drop of superglue should stop that. Anything wrong with my thinking ? I have read where Cerakote gets a few more nod vs a chrome mate finish. Only what I read , pros and cons. Also what’s the deal I read about the extractor and channel not being correct size ? That sucks if true. |

I bought the P35 with fiber optic and it's been a great gun. Yes , the fiber optic piece fell out , I just got another stick off Amazon and then just melted the ends a bit to mushroom them out. Been fine since. The only thing I can say negative is that it does not like steel ammo much. It will work , but I get a failure to extract occasionally. Very fun to shoot and my real BHP sits in the safe now. |

If you are worried about the filament rod falling out of any firearm, just buy a few feet of filament, and a BIC lighter. I have one of the Turkish INGLIS guns with the black cerakote. I haven’t fired it yet. It looks great. Especially the checkered wooden grips. Those grips look so nice, I actually got some extras to allow me to preserve the original set. I got this over the L9A1 and other P35 Inglis variants mainly due to its Cerakoted. I like fiber front sights also for my older eyes. If I don’t like them I’ll swap them Out. But I have them on a couple handguns. Now I’m not hot on the color of the grips. I want a thin grip that looks like it possibly belongs on it. Maybe tung or BLO them will darken them. Hint of stain ? Or just buy some different ones would be the easy best bet. lol. Thanks for the reply’s. |
