Most info about holsters for the lcp max seems to be around pocket holsters (which I am planning to buy) but I would also like a decent IWB holster and am curious to know what others are using. I bought a Desantis slim tuk that seems to be recommended as pretty good for the price, it only took 5 weeks to arrive from amazon lol  Kinda find it meh, overall quality is fine and the clip is just ok although I might try to put a ddc clip on like I have seen others do. Unfortunately its just not as comfortable as I hope was going to be, biggest issue bending over/sitting it seems ride just low enough that It gets stuck right into the fold of my gut. Now I am not in peak shape but I am also not super overweight at 6'1'' 205# but it this regard it is worse than carrying a larger gun for me appendix in my limited time using it. Not sure if this just a symptom is this holster's complete lack of sweat guard and If I should try something else or not. | I used to carry an LCP in a holster like this and still do carry my 365x like this. I love the minimalism but obviously it's not fast or safe to reholster. One thing I'd suggest is to move the clip. Looks like you can move it down one screw hole, which will bring the gun to a new ride height. Might be enough to make it more comfy for you? The other is slide it fore or aft on the side. at 2:30 I get poked slightly in the belly but at 3 I absolutely don't. |
