I ran down to the FFL fast before I went to work so I could at least say I have it.
First thing, my gun came by way of a little girls birthday party, I think - it had glitter all over it. You can't see it in the pic, but hold it in the light, yeah, and it's on me chair now, too! Speaking of, is this the new CZ pistol case, fabric covered hard shell with a zipper? Quite nice, but I haven't picked up a CZ pistol in over two years, so this might be the new normal I wasn't aware of. 
Nicely packaged, plenty of room. 
All things inside, a new cylindrical cleaning kit I've not seen before, and a snap cap! I remember when you would get three orange snap caps with every CZ pistol...those were the days. Manual for both the gun and the COA, very nice. The gun lock will probably get donated. I did notice it only comes with two mags...the era of three magazines must be over. Also...replacement baseplates? +2? I didn't have time to really look, but that seemed odd. Not complaining, not by a long shot, just not sure the "what fors". 
I have only tried to use a pistol dot once, mounted on a CZ P-10M, and it was impossible to locate the dot. However, using what the fine people told me here about how to use a dot, I tried with the COA, and acquisition was easy, most of the time. This will take much ammo and time. 
Da Boy picked it up and of COURSE it fits him perfectly and he finds the dot naturally as breathing...NO! Back! Back! Down, bad doggie, no can have my new toy. OTOH, I will have him try it at 100 yards once we get the dot sighted in - that will be the telling point right there. So, that's it, a glitter bombed case and a very cool pistol inside. Further bulletins as events warrant. Edit - finding a holster is fun... |
