| I have been looking at Pachmayr presentation grips for the Colt I-Frame, and I'm seeing them in "Small Grip" and "Large Grip" versions. What is the difference, and which one will fit a new production Python? |

The new Python and Anaconda accept all original Python grips, since they now use the same grip frame. Last time I looked, Pachmayr no longer offers the Presentation for any Colt revolvers. You can find t hem on eBay and some gun stores will still have old production left. The Pachmayr Presentation Large grip is simply just slightly larger all around then the Small and has "sharp" butt edges. The Small is just slightly smaller then the large and has very slightly rounded off edges of the butt. You pretty much have to see them side by side to tell the difference. |
