Im currently running a T-Rex arms holder for my 5" TRP and Tactical Pro II (both none rail). I enjoy the holster but honestly just want to move back to leather with a 1911. I am currently looking at the Galco Concealment 2.0 as the primary holster I plan to go with. I have looked at some custom ones to include Mitt etc but the lead times are a long way out. Before I pull the trigger on the Galco, are there any others from different manufactures you all may recommend? My only requirements is OWB around the 5 oclock spot. |

Order the one with the rail It still works with non railed. Plus you can get horsehide Or Im currently waiting on a rhodesion Ronin custom leather, Ryan Grizzle, kramer, and simply rugged all make good stuff |

Leather OWB holsters are the only type I've used for 1911's (and most other handguns) for a couple of decades. I've tried just about every maker's holsters available and I keep coming back to four due to quality, fit, durability and most importantly comfort. Warbird Gun leather TT Gun Leather Simply Rugged Milt Sparks The holsters from those 4 companies have proven themselves to me several times over with a Beltman bull hide belt. None of them are inexpensive but if you carry every day from pants on until pants off they're worth every penny and then some. |
