This is pretty minimal but I can see light between the plate and my 507 comp by the recoil lugs. Probably the width of a piece of paper. Presumably either the recoil lugs aren't seating all the way. Or the recoil fence is binding before it sits all the way. Would you bother trying to fit it or just send it? Attached File Note you can see the lugs. |

FCD doesn't support Holosun. Either mill the slide or use a plate from a different company. FCD doesn't like China. I understand their position, but it is frustrating. They must have enough tax funded contracts that they can ignore common products used by every day citizens. |

I have the comp because I like it better than the SRO not because it's cheaper. Larger window and better reticle. Yeah it seems the fit overall is pretty sloppy. I was going to modify it but I think I'll just get a different plate and try to return this one. |

The DPP Titanium plates sold on Amazon are equally as good as FCD and made out of titanium. If you don't like it, they also have free Amazon returns. They are my go to for holosun sights, I've owned about 5 of them and they have all been 100% and fit tight in the pocket. |

We've taken the same position re: Holosun since 2021. We had 509T plate design drawn in 2021 but decided to withdraw support for sights not made or based in the US and allied countries altogether. Arson Machine that's been making some of our plate uses the design and makes 509T plates for Glock MOS, they make MOS EPS plates as well, we send customers to them and others instead. MIL, Local and federal agencies contracts and orders have always been there, there was a lot fewer back then, they are not the reason. There are other competent and honest companies that do support these sights well, such as Athena Precision, Apex Tactical, and Arson Machines, we choose to focus on sights made in the US and by allied countries. |

Don't send it yet; you need total surface contact for a reliable setup. That gap indicates the optic isn't bottomed out, meaning the recoil lugs aren't fully engaged. Without that mechanical lock, your mounting screws are absorbing the entire recoil impulse, which eventually leads to them shearing off or your zero shifting. Check if the plate lugs are too tall for the 507 Comp pockets. A small amount of filing on the tops of the lugs usually fixes this. Also, inspect the front and rear "fence" areas for binding; sometimes a slight radius mismatch prevents a flush fit. Finally, ensure the screws aren't bottoming out in the slide or plate. If they are even a hair too long, they will feel tight before the optic is actually secure. |
