I have two Holosun HE509T-RD X2 red dots. X2 means its the version 2 from what I've read. One has a serial number beginning with 00127XXX and the other is 00133XXX. Here's what I question. Inside the sealed area of the emitter the 127 has a strip of what looks like plastic on the left side, the 133 does not have it at all. Seems like that piece of plastic could in theory, come loose and bounce around inside if it were to happen? What does yours look like? I also had a HE509T RD X2 in FDE. Unfortunately I did not take photos before returning it immediately. I will say it had a serial number series of numbers unlike the two above. My big gripe was that the window size from the rear eye viewing angle was smaller. Not sure why. But the glue around the front window was also not consistant, almost gooped around the edge. My warning is to inspect each one you buy if you have that ability. Or at least do a full inspection before installing and voiding any return policies. It was almost like the FDE model was made from a different housing. It appeared that the side walls of the sight were thicker. So do we now have a subversion of the V2, with even more updated tech? V2.1 and V2.2 Is it an upgrade, downgrade, or a fluke? Holosun has not been one to return question emails, such as simple serial number dating. Attached File Attached File |

509T-X2 vs 509T-X2 LEM click here So if you have a 509T, LEM or not? Of the 2 pictures I posted, which one does it look like inside? The only difference between the 2 is the LEM comes with a Glock mount? As stated in the link above. |
