These are pricey at $50 but they're lighter than even aluminum, and much stronger than shitty plastic mainspring housings and won't dent like aluminum. They also won't wear off the anodizing and show silver metal underneath if that bothers you. For cutting every ounce you can from a carry gun I love them. Please excuse dust, grit, scratches etc, this gun gets carried.
