Im not really Sig guy but I need some help. I picked up a surplus 228 earlier this year and I like it except for the large protrusion on the top left grip panel at the slide stop. Its great for one handed shooting but I dont like where my thumbs sit when two handed shooting. Is there a set of grips that dont have this? I've done some searches but havent really found a answer. The E2 grips will work. Looks like they still have that hump but maybe shaped different. Attached File |

Thanks for the suggestions so far. I dont have a problem with the grip circumference getting bigger to match, I want to remove or minimize as much as possible of this rise as I can. It sits exactly where my thumbs want to ride in a proper two hand grip. I've been searching a bit more and have found a bunch of grips but I either can't see the rise because of the image or can't find pics on a pistol. |
