| You’ll receive a FedEx shipping notification with tracking number. I don’t believe anything was sent directly from Glock - just from FedEx to the email address you provide with your work order. The tracking notice just refers to the shipper as “GI” (Glock, Inc, presumably). I’m guessing that’s to maintain discretion. |

Sent in 3 stripped slides to them.
Mr. FedEx man today delivered my return package containing 3 complete slides with all new parts and night sights, 3 sets of new adjustable rear sights in a bag, a new Glock box with no markings on it, cleaning kit and trigger lock and the owners manual. Very impressed with Glock. Not sure what to do with the adjustable rears or old upper parts. Am wondering if I’d sent the recoil springs in if they would have replaced those too. Gonna ship another 2 to them next along with a couple broken mags and recoil springs just to find out. |

To date I have sent somewhere between 10-12 slides for sights and refinish work. Last friday I sent another g19 completely stripped 3rd's for sights and a refinish.
Glock called me today to let me know of the price change. So, I asked him who the fuck they think they are sticking it in my ass and after all these years of loyalty. I also mentioned that I was going to sell all my Glock auto's and move on to a company that gives a shit about us. Dead silence... then we both laughed pretty hard for a bit. 10.00 and it's still a great deal. I asked if I could pay for a couple of recoil springs and he said, "along with all the other parts, I'll throw em in the box". He said that they the holiday will hold them up a couple days, don't care. What a great plastic gun company. |

This finish seems to be a bit darker, porous, more texture but not quite the finish we love and miss. It is somewhere in between the new 5gen nDLC and the frying pan. It is def not as prone to fingerprints as the gen 4's. I am completely satisfied with the finish for the price and the fact that they replaced every removable part in the gun. I will soon find out if it holds up to kydex as it is a complete rebuild, including Glock frame restoration that will be carried daily. I'll soon get some Gen2 through Gen 5 pics up for comparison of this Gen3 refinish. |

I have a 25 yr old gen 2 G17. I would like to send it back as well for night sights and to be refinished.
Just wondering if one day this thing might be worth something and the refinishing hurting the value. Decisions decisions....

So anyone utilize this service for the Gen 5 Ameriglos yet? BL dealer only had regular plastic sight 19.5's in stock so that's what I ended up with but I really wanted the Ameriglo sighted model.
For myself, with tax, the new sights will cost $105.60. So long as they are continuing to throw in a complete set of slide parts for the Gen 5 slides it's more than worth it, especially with the newer parts being a tad bit more difficult to obtain at the moment. I just want to see if that's the case for anyone who's sent in a gen 5 slide as of yet? |

I got my 19.5 slide back today with the BOLD sights installed, plus all the slide parts as well. It was $105.60 plus ten for shipping and insurance to the mothership, so long as they continue with the free slide parts it's more than worth it, even at that price point.

Sent my G19 & G23 slides in priority mail from Nevada Jan 23 they received Jan 25. Shipped Feb 2 I received Feb 8. 5 business day turnaround. Very nice.
I did not strip my slides and sent recoil springs with them. I did request they inspect and replace any worn parts. Glock replaced ALL parts and sent new recoil springs. More than happy with the service. 
They also sent them in a case.

| I took my G17 Gen 5 down to the factory ( l live not far from it) and had the Ameriglo FBI sights installed...............very happy with them and it didn't take long at all |

| I have a Gen 2 23 that I've owned since new (1996 I believe) and I'm thinking about sending the slide in for night sights. Some time back I thought I heard something about there being some factory revisions/upgrades made to some of the slide parts on the 23. Is my gun from this era? Also wondering if I have any desirable old parts in this gun that I should retain since I read something up there about "Pre-MIM" parts. |
