A lot of parts of that light just look weak, like the hinge pins, the rear bolt that goes through the rear of the switch, and the screwdriver / coin slot. They've cut a lot of corners to get to that price point, and it shows, and I will bet you it will show up where you can't see it. The electronics. If it looks that bad on the outside that you can see, just think what corners they've cut on the electronics / wiring that you can't see. I might put it on a pellet gun for pest control, but that's it. My son and I both have a TLR-1 1,000 lumen light on our primary handguns. We paid around $125 each for them a couple of years ago, tax and shipping included, on sale from Primary Arms if I remember right. I remember the price right, just not 100% on whether it was Primary Arms or PSA. Just looking at it, I know it's much more robust than this new light. One thing that tells you that other than the obvious build quality, is the warranty. A 90 day warranty guarantees problems. If they don't believe in it, why would I? |

I've noticed mine doesn't mount as tight as I would like it to. Tried it one a couple of guns, RXM was one of them. Amazon makes a similar knock-off (or did) for about half the price. Honestly think it may be a better light. My reaction to the HF is pretty meh. |

I guess TLR complained. It looks like they groove lengthwise on the body on both sides to distinguish it. Changed up the head a little too. Have an original and the new one. |

| Picked up two for 77.75 otd with 40% coupon, mounted on a trade-in M&P45 & M&P9 tested both with a couple mags, so far so good for round the house action. How's the holster fitment on the new knurled, groved body version? Thinking of grabbing a trade-in holster off ebay if it'll fit. |

There should have been some rails in the package to swap out for different guns. When I got one it was loose on a Glock. I swapped out the little doohickey and it’s perfect now. |
