I was finally able to take my P320 Flux and P365 with Icarus grip module out for a range visit and it was a great session. The P320 Flux is a game changer and I always debated getting one but am glad I finally did. I ran many different brands and grain/ weights of ammo through it and they all functioned perfectly and the pistol was very accurate. At thirty yards, as long as I did my part, it shot perfectly and accurately cutting a 2" hole out of the target. Recoil was next to nil and was comfortable to shoot. I have added/removed a couple small parts on the Flux, one being the right sided ambi-safety lever. I noticed it was difficult to flip the lever from safe to fire but after adding the right side delete from Armory Craft, the change and ease of operating the lever was night and day. It still offered a solid lever/safety feel but now was much smoother. I also have on order a replacement front sight/charging handle from Tactical Development, as I purchased an inexpensive polymer printed version that attached to the optic plate, which broker after the first time firing it. The P365, I have had a love /hate relationship with it as I wanted to like it but it always shot low for me and was a little snappy. I bought an Icarus aluminum grip module for it and it was a game changer. It gives a more natural pointability to it and I was quite pleased with it's functioning and accuracy. It ate everything I fed it and the recoil impulse was changed and very mild. All in all a great session. |

| The gun started as a standard, base P365. I guess I am one of the few who like the standard curved trigger and wanted to keep it that way. The grip was too small for me to get a good hold on it so I got an XL grip module from Wilson but it shot too low for me due to the angle of the grip. I then bought a kit from Sig to change out the slide to the "X" size and sold the smaller slide and grip module. I can't say enough good things about the Icarus grip module. I looked at a couple others aluminum grips modules but they all had the standard grip/angle,unlike the Icarus. The only issue, if I can call it that, would be the mag well area/lower part of the grip module, is longer than would be on a regular grip module and inserting 12 round mags can be slightly challenging to get them to seat with a full mag.. With the 17 round mags, it works perfectly. |

I have always wanted to like the 365xl, but just didn't fit quite right. Bought the Wilson Grip and things were a bit better but still didn't love it. I have been looking for a replacement for the last 6 - 8 months and was about to jump on one of the HK's. Just happened upon the Magpul 17 round replacement at Scheels and bought it with no real expectation it would make much of a difference. Actually got to the range this week and was very pleasantly suprised. It completely changed the feel of the gun. I ordered a couple more magazines at only $30.00 ish, so price is good too. The mag ran with no stoppages, about 200 rounds this session. If the XL doesn't fit quite right for you this might work for you-all as well. I am no longer looking to replace the 365xl.
