I'm looking at an HP listed for sale online and trying to ID the rear sight.

I did a Google image search for "Hi Power adjustable rear sight" and found just about every brand/variation...except this one. It looks familiar, but I just can't place what manufacturer it might be.

Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

Without better pictures I think it is an early Novak adjustable rear sight.   I seem to remember a Hi Power adjustable rear sight with protective wings similar to the rear winged adjustable sight on the S&W 2nd generation 439/459.   I can’t remember the manufacturer and couldn’t find any pictures.

You might look at these sights.  In the past it was not uncommon to mount sights intended for a different pistol if no sights were available.  A common practice in the 70’s to 80’s was to mount S&W revolver adjustable sights on semi autos.   When these sights were mounted low in the slide it was referred to as a melted rear sight.
