| I can't believe all the hate the CC9 got for not having a paddle mag release, and all the spastic enthusiasm the SFP9 is getting because is has one. Of all the features on a micro 9, the mag release is probably the least important. |

I think we're getting closer, keep your eyes peeled. There was an 'accidental' early promotional release. You can download the VP9CC manual off of HKPRO. It was up on the HK website for a minute and then they deleted it. Pictures show Columbus GA on the slide. It's happening... |

You know, it even revived love from my VP9Sk, then I carried both yesterday for a while - the VP9Sk literally tires me... it's big. Still big, heavy - I can feel it (ETA OWB carry in leather in two slots belt holster - very thin, flat to the body) The CC9 simply (truly) disappeared (I am medium build, more or less in shape - 58 years old). They shoot very similarly... what an amazing score with the CC9 they made. Just saw the video ads, Im months late to the news it seems. Is it just me, I'm not really seeing anything that the CC9 doesn't offer besides paddles. Genuinely curious, not a hate post. I love my CC9. Attached File |

Upon watching some videos, I don’t think I like the VP. The optic mounting is funky, the paddles extend into the already tiny trigger guard, and the frame sweep they have going on at the trigger makes no sense in combination with the paddles. Looks like there’s not much room to work with. It’s wider than the CC9, and it looks like despite the CC9 being two tenths of an inch taller, the slide is taller than the CC9’s. It looks like the CC9 is more refined to me. Which isn’t surprising since Germany hasn’t allowed concealed carry since Hitler banned it.

I'm pretty interested in this. Size wise it's closest to my FN Reflex, which I love. I have a question about the cocking 'wings'. I know they are removable, but how are they retained? Under the rear sight? If you remove them is there a recess that is exposed, or do they just sit flush against the rear of the slide? I've never looked at a regular VP9. |

I already own a CC9 and it has been my main EDC for a while but after reading about the VP9CC's features if I didn't already own the CC9 I'd probably still pick it over the VP9CC. The VP9CC is nice that it's a "real made in Germany HK" and more optics flexibility, but the CC9 being ~10% thinner is a big deal to me. Less expensive too which is always a plus. Has anyone actually bought one yet? |

It's not just that though, it's the retarded smooth cutouts at the top right where you need contact the most. Those and the slide stop are what I dislike most about the VP9. |
