I'm looking for a tool box that I can use to store gun cleaning itrms. Jags, brushes, a pistol bore handle, some smaller bottles of solvent, oil and whatever else. I don't have a lot of bench space so something I can pull out when I need it or take with me. I could buy one of those gun cleaning kits that come in some sort of case but rather not. Anybody have a tool box idea I can look at? I've been to the hardware stores to look but nothing that really speaks to me. Thanks for looking. |

These are pretty awesome - can be used to clean guns on as well. Have had one for years and keep cleaners, etc. in it. Have given them to friends/family for Christmas and you can catch them on sale on occasion. MTM gun tool box |

I have something like that. Mine, probably came from Lowes or Menards. Mine doesn't have to cool gun rack built in to hold your long gun while you work on it though. |

| I use these MTM Case Guard inserts in a 50 cal ammo can. I can put patches and jags and brushes in the compartments and there is one tray with longer slots for longer brushes and small bottles of CLP. It worked well for me. |

| Get creative, if you think it will help you be more organized. For example, those plastic tackle trays with the lids make great compartments for punches, files, cleaning items, and other smaller tools that tend to be hard to find. Placing it there will be easier to locate. |
