I've got a pair of square "N" frame grips that I THINK I ordered directly from S&W 20 years ago or so... but can't remember if these were the ones. Attached File Attached File Attached File I seem to recall the rounded "N" routered into the back of the panels was a "S&W thing" for that era... Any ideas? Factory S&W? Some other company? I am relatively sure it is a S&W product and for a "N" frame revolver. I have never seen an aftermarket grip set with the S&W roundel. I have seen and owned S&W revolvers for fifty years. |
So... I find comfort in the fact that if Trump has to work so hard to go to Heaven, then there is a shit load of Democrats that have no f-cking chance to go anywhere but HELL. Sometimes it is entirely appropriate to kill a fly with a sledge-hammer.

The locating pins, routered N and the style of loading relief at the top of the left panel all seem consistent when Altamont products. They, along with a number of other aftermarket manufacturers, offer S&W medallions. That’s not to say you wouldn’t have gotten them from S&W though. I don’t know about 20 years ago, but S&W currently puts Altamont grips on their guns and the wood grips they sell on their site right now appear to be Altamont products. |
