I've got the 226 X-5 Legion - Basically the same thing but Legion gray instead of high polish QPQ. Yes, it shoots quite flat with hot 115 gr loads but is very good with about everything I have run through it. I did notice the recoil springs softening up at about 2500 round mark so I bought a couple sets to keep it in spec. I put a RMR-HD and suppressor height Sig sights on mine after the Romeo-X Enclosed I had went south. It is superbly accurate. My current favorite pistol. I have the P226 X-5 STAS as well and it shoots well above its price point. Recently added a 226-X DA/SA. Between these pistols I have zero desire to buy any new 2011. |
