Bought me a max9 combo deal, came with a Viridian optic RMSc cut. I don't think an optic as practical on a carry gun so maybe I'll mount it on a full sized gun. Any good places to look for used optic cut slides? |
GAFS if you're a Reddit user. Much better deals than probably 80% of the EE. But good deals are gone in minutes, even at 2am  The biggest question is what gun are you looking for a replacement slide for? Many fullsize guns are still made for RMR. RMSc is popular on smaller guns (but is gaining ground in the 1911/2011 world). Which is leading to larger RMSc optics like the Gideon Judge XL. |

KM Tactical has had all sorts of cheap ass he's only one slides that are RMR cut. If you want something like that and an adapter. They're not the best, but there are not a lot of options for optic cut G21 slides. If you already have one, you could go ahead and send it to be milled. If you don't mind plates, you could always get it milled for the MOS cut so you have other options if you want to change. As I think I said, RMSc optics are typically on the smaller side so if you want to change to something else, you might not find something that you like to match with the size of the gun (except for options such as the judge XL and I'm sure other models to come from other companies). |

Another thing to consider is the quality of the Veridian optic and the amount of money you're spending just to use it. You might be better off just selling the optic and putting that money to something else you know you will enjoy. Just thinking out loud, they don't always get the best reviews
