| I have a chance to buy a Sig P220ST for $650. It is in VG-Excellent condition. It has aftermarket Hogue rubber grips on it. It is a very early model with a 2002 date code. It has made in Germany on the slide, and the serial number starts with a G. It comes with one mag and no box. Is this a good price, or what is this thing worth? I have always love the stainless classic Sigs, but this is my first time to run across one in the wild. Thanks in advance. |

Great price for a fairly uncommon and my favorite 220 variant. That model came with OEM Hogue grip panels. ETA I have a G prefix serial number ST with the proprietary rail. It looks like this (photo is from the web it is not mine): |

That is an excellent price for a P220ST. Looking around the auctions the past week they seem to be going for $1K give or take, with box etc. I bought a P220ST Nitron back in 2005 or so; supposedly a short T&E run for a LE agency. One of the most comfortable, accurate, and reliable 45 auto's I own. And a hefty bugger (that's with an empty mag).

That is a damn nice price. If you don't take it, please let me. I've long jonesed for a P220 ST to go with my P226 ST - the first pistol I kept. There have been some examples on GunBroker recently but they went above my range (and I played with the idea of getting one of the X-Six options but they went way above my budget!) Post pictures when you get it. |
