If I can't resist, which should I get, C or R? I would guess that C would be more effective with recoil, but R looks cooler to me, plus I don't use (have) a front sight that would be moved back. Tell me what to do, you know I'm paralyzed until I get direction from y'all. Attached File |

I have a G22C I bought LEO trade-in. Otherwise I would never bought one but the price was too good to pass up. Now porting a G20 is another thing. I have a OEM 6 inch "hunting" barrel and a conventional rifled 6 inch barrel and had them Mag-na-ported on the part beyond the slide. Now I must consider if porting my .357 SIG barrel for the G20 would be worth the price. WTF have you done to the frame when the slide appears pristine? ETA... A $200.00 service for $85.00, I am approaching the point that I can't afford to save anymore money on gun stuff! |

On impulse I did the C cut when they ran the Memorial Day sale. I sent my G48MOS slide in and they completed the work in 9 days. I wasn't expecting much from the C ports but I'm pleasantly surprised by how effective the mod is. Very much exceeded my expectations.

I've gone a little wild experimenting with ported guns and compensated guns and the C style or things like MAC defense and Maple leaf do that are basically lined down the barrel are definitely more noticeable across the course with ammo types as far as muzzle rise than any of the muzzle end only ports like the chunk ports or that Glockstore R style cuts. Got my G19.4 slide/barrel back last week. 8 business days from receiving it to shipping it back. Machine work is excellent! Identical to the factory C cuts. Range day tomorrow to try it out. I may be sending a few more out for this service. Attached File |
