Let's get this up an running.
It seems that only RCS has a pre-order for the holsters available. As new options come online can everyone post in here as they see em? maybe we could get this thread to not go into archives as well. @AJE |

going to need a holster also for the 48
|

|
Vedder says it’s at the top of their list.

Why wouldn't a 43 holster work with either of them? As long as the muzzle end isn't closed, most of them should work I would think. Glock's website lists the 43x and 48 as 1mm wider in overall width and the slide width as being identical to the 43. Is 1mm of frame/grip width really enough to make them not fit? Or is there a dimension change that I'm missing that will make them not fit?

View Quote It's really a shame they dropped their Phantom line, they were the best at that in their prime. They are a good company and I hope them well but I have switched to other holster providers. For Kydex JM Custom is my go to guy, highest quality there is. |

JM Custom Kydex makes a “long” AIWB holster for the 43. They do it to keep the grip from tilting out. I ordered one to see if it works for the 48.
If it doesn’t, I’ll just use it for my 43. |

My RCS mini phantom for the 43 should work for the 43X but not the 48.
I’m in to see who starts making them the fastest |

I’m picking up my new 43x Tuesday

Picking my G48 upon Monday morning and straight to the range. I just received my N82 IWB for the 48. Works with my 43 and has to be the most comfortable holster I have worn.

I'm picking up my 48 Tuesday. I'm hoping it will lock up in my VG2 that I use with my G43.

I’m really hoping I can carry the 43x with my existing 43 vanguard.

Is the 43x released this coming Monday? MLK Day?

My 43x fits in all my 43 holsters, of which I have three. My favorite and the one I carry all the time is an open top from 1791 Gunleather.
The 48 also fits in the same holster as long as the bottom is open. |

Just got a Crossbreed Mini Tuck yesterday. Now waiting for my 43X to ship.

Kwando, who makes that rig? Can you snap some pics of the gun and mags?
Thanks! |

For a high quality and affordable kydex holster and
for someone with a heat gun, this holster can be easily modified for a 48. I bought one for my comp'd 43 and it works great. My comp'd 43 upper is the same length as the 48 slide. These are on sale for $29. Code 4 Defense Be sure to order the threaded barrel option to get the extra length. Here it is before I received my comp and one after I modded it for the comp. |

You will see most of the kydex guys releasing holsters for both soon if not already. The 43x will fit fine in a standard 43 holster as long as the blocking is good and the 48 will fit in one with an open muzzle. I should have my 48 split mold later this week and start cranking out dedicated 48 holsters and will probably buy a 48 as well.

Dark Star Gear posted that their G43 hitchhiker works with both the 43x and the 48. I have for sale in the exchange if anyone is interested in trying it:

PJ Holsters is making them. I love their IWB.
Evidently they really aren’t much different. Most people are using G43 holsters without issue. P of PJ Holsters said, “There is a slight difference on the frame around the slide release but everything else is the same as far as the holster goes.” |

I'm using the VGII on my 48 as well.
What I really need are mag pouches. Hopefully Glock will do an OEM pouch for these new models. |

I need an incog for this thing, 48.
I'm gonna order a phenom stealth I guess. My incog for the 43 is closed end, I don't feel like heat gunning it as it helps with the 43 fitment. |

It seems a lot of the sellers on Amazon are saying that the 43x will not fit in the 43 holsters. Does that make sense?
I was looking for one that would accommodate a TLR-6 on the 43x. |
