My first, and favorite, Glock is my 17L. I've always like long slide handguns, and there's none better or longer than the 17L. It's accurate, low recoiling, and is so awesome at competitions that someone whined enough to prevent them from often being allowed, hence the shorter and thus less awesome 34. When I pair mine up with a 33 round mag, I call it the Framers Square, then proceed to mow down any targets in front. I also added a Lone Wolf threaded barrel, so it's up to 6.5" long. Who else loves their long slide Glock? |

Attached File One of my oldest Glock 17L gen 2, I bought new in 1990, It still runs fine. I've got three other Glocks, Glock 17 gen 2, G19 gen 2 and a newer made in 2022 G17 gen 5 MOS. |

Internally they have all Gen 3 parts. The frame is a repro Gen 1. The slide is Gen 3 with Gen 1 rollmarks and a special finish. I compared the G17 side by side to a real Gen1 G17.
