If you have been thinking about these, buy with confidence. Damn nice pistols, good shooters. Grips are comfortable and sights are decent. Much better than the Tisas Fatih I bought a couple years ago. Attached File |

Barrels swap freely between slides and frames as well. Triggers are very good on both and sights are centerhold point of aim/impact. Quite accurate pistols; I am impressed. |

What didn't you like about the Tisas Fatih 13? I looked at one in the gun store and it seemed to be a quality made pistol. The only thing I thought might be a problem was racking the slide was very hard to do. Super stiff spring. Would be difficult for a women or, someone with arthritis etc. would have a problem. I can't find any other info on these pistols otherwise. I'm talking about the newly released one. |

I would like to; it is supposed to have corrected some of the deficiencies of the original Fatih. It (old model) has a lot of hot spots, hurts to shoot compared to the Girsan clones. Same design as the rest, just not executed as well. the new one is supposed to be the bee's knees, but I have a Fatih (old), G84, BDA clone, and an 80X. I am finding it difficult to justify buying the new Fatih. |

It’s the major reason Beretta designed the tip open barrel Model 86. A decade or so ago when my nearly 80 year old mother wanted a concealed carry handgun, I recommended she either get a S&W Model 36 and shoot standard pressure 38s or find a Beretta Model 86 due to the tip open design. I’ve handled the new Fatih and it’s still a long way from living up to its “Conquerer” name. It did not compare well to the Beretta 84 in fit, finish, or overall smoothness and reports have been that reliability is spotty. That’s a notable black mark when the basic Beretta open slide design itself is inherently very reliable and hard to screw up. Given the choice between a new Fatih and a used very good condition Beretta 84 for the same money, I chose the Beretta. You get know quality and a pistol that will appreciate in value. I also own an 80X and it’s a very different pistol compared to the 84. The 84 is a safety equipped pistol can be carried cocked and locked which makes up for the otherwise slightly heavy (but smooth) DA trigger and fairly long trigger reach (for the type). With a pair of LOK thin grips it’s very comfortable in the hand and very comfortable to carry IWB. The 80X is a decocker equipped pistol and when decocked the trigger reach is much shorter, while the DA trigger pull is very light by DA standards and extremely smooth. The tail on the 80X is a waste of space and weight and is the major downside. But new shooters like gimmicks like rails, even on what is supposed to be a concealed carry pistol, so marketing is going to do what marketing does. I also prefer the older curved back strap to the newer Vertex style grip on the 80X. Both are things the newer clones kept and did right.   Between the two, I am far more likely to carry the 84 than the 80X although both shoot very well. |
| I just got a new tu tone finish Girsan clone and fit , finish , trigger are all real nice shoots great , I like it , stopped at a gun shop on the way home and dam they had a Beretta 84 in 380 with holster and 2 mags like new for 300 bucks , I bought it and took it home , , couldn`t leave with out for that price . |
