Just picked up a nice 226R in 9mm, question I have is ... anyone running the Armory craft( or other) straight trigger on your 226 DA/SA? reason I ask is, I have to replace the trigger with the short reach trigger shoe due to my short fingers.... all of my 320's have the straight triggers and I kinda like them so I was thinking maybe ordering a straight trigger for my 226. what is it like having a straight trigger on a DA/SA? |

I should have added my 226 came with the E2 grip, the standard trigger is just to "thick" or forward set in DA that I cannot get my finger pad on it comfortably. I have not yet seen a 226 DA/SA with a flat trigger at any of my local gun shops... I did hold the legion SAO and the trigger was great. from what I am reading/watching Both the Armorycraft and the Grayguns adjustable flat triggers are set a little rearward to get rid of some of the pre-travel... the Armorycraft has a solid bump and I believe the Grayguns uses an adjustment screw. |

| I know the P365 is totally different than the P226, but you could try and find something similar in Sig's line with a flat trigger and get a "feel" for the flat shoe and angle. The P229 Legion with its flat trigger and beavertail were deal breakers for me, so I ended up with a P229R with srt which is just my preference |
