In case anyone is interested in this pistol... just recently got this like new G-Force Exodus RPX9 in a trade. I have just a bit under $200 into it. Yes I know it's Not an actual Glock and I didn't expect perfection, but.... (1)Right away I had to address the gritty trigger issues, not to hard if you know how the Glock internals work. a bit of tweaking and polishing to get a decent trigger pull (2)next was the machine marks and rough overflash on the interior of the slide.. this was causing brass shavings as the slide moved back and forth over the loaded mag. The takedown lever also had excessive overflash on the top which mad it hard to remove the slide when breaking the pistol down, it would catch. So basically I smoothed almost all mating points internally, even the barrel lockup, the machine marks made for a gritty slow lockup. as it sits now it is still 100% stock and easily ran about 200 rounds without issue, much more comfortable in my hand than a Glock 19, or even my Dagger for that matter... and I will be using this as a base platform for a carry pistol build. I am going to replace all internals with factory Glock, I have a factory gen 4 glock barrel already, the sights will also be replaced.  |
here are a few area I had to address, some were to remove the over flash and some to just make smooth for proper cycling. I went easy as to not remove any key material, so some spots still have some imperfections... on the second pic I also forgot to mention that the leg that sets in the frame on the takedown lever spring was too long and the recoil spring was getting hung up on it also.  |
