| I am wanting to get a threaded barrel for my P320 and noticed Faxon has a decent reputation but was wondering what the hive here thinks? I have seen some good deals on these lately and am debating on getting one. Anyone here that has one care to chime in and tell me what you think? I would appreciate any info.. |

Probably going to get an M&P9 and P320 Faxon barrel at some point. So far I have shot my can on my Beretta and Dagger, really enjoy it with subsonic ammo. |

OK, got to try my Faxon G17, Gen 2-4 threaded barrel. The good news. Unsuppresed it was 100% reliable and extremely accurate. 15 yards, 10 rounds. Attached File Attached File Attached File The bad news. With subsonic, and regular ammo, with my Obsidian 9 on it, the slide locked back after every shot. Thats in its full size configuration, didn't bother to unscrew the end and put it into K configuration. I would hit the slide release, it would load a round, fire, extract and eject the empty case, and lock back. Every time. The G17 is a gen4, other than the Faxon barrel, its 100% stock except for the OEM extended slide release. And no, I am not hitting it, I fired 120 rounds of AAC 115 through it unsuppresed, functioned 100%. Not a big deal, my Dagger functions 100% suppressed, and it has suppressor height sights so no big deal. I will try again after a few hundred more rounds to break the barrel in. |

Sorry, I didn't mean what I said about the functioning but your accuracy. Looks good. What size is your dagger? Does it have a Glock recoil spring/standard length threaded barrel? I don't know much about suppressors other than what I am reading/learning as I go. I did noticed the Faxon barrel I have is a bit longer than a standard threaded barrel length, as the threads don't begin where the slide ends but has like another 1/4" prior to the threaded part. and won't accept a comp either due to it's extra length. Would that have anything to do with a suppressor as well? Is yours similar? Attached File |

But yes, it is odd. Unsuppresed it functions 100%, I probably ran 60, 80 rounds through it without the suppressor. It was only suppressed that it fed fine, extracted and ejected fine, but locked the slide back. I would hit the slide release, fire, it would do it again. I know for a fact I wasn't hitting the release, I shot it a couple times only holding the bottom of the grip, watching my hand while I fired, my thumbs were 2" or so below the release. |

I was cleaning the pistol last night and I noticed the slide release was occasionally sticking in the up position? It was a Glock extended slide release from Midway, in a Glock package? Anyway, going to throw the suppressor on this morning and try it. Soaking the Nelson device in breakfree to clean the piston and spring now. I will grease that sucker and try it in a bit. It was the slide release. I ran 50 rounds suppressed, and 50 rounds unsuppresed fine. |

| That's surprising that it could happen like that but I guess nothing is impervious of an issue. Glad to hear you got it worked out. I have shot my pistol with the barrel a few times and it runs like a well oiled machine, which I guess it is. |

I will say, the gen 4 G14 was the dirtiest, spitting shit back in my face suppressed pistol I've shot. Its weird my Dagger has been 100% with almost nothing back in my face. I think I'm going to use the suppressor exclusively on the Dagger. |
