The marketing materials state that it is for military and law-enforcement use only and not intended for the civilian market. This will only serve to drive demand and probably drive up the Price for quite a while. Everyone will want one because they’re not supposed to have it. |

Looks nice. Flat surface on the optic, so no dot smearing around the edges and true 1X. Hologhrapic / prism, so no dot distortion from astigmatism. Light sensor for reticle brightness. 5 minute shutoff after no movement, shake awake. CR2032 battery, 800 hours run time. Modified delta point mount. Top side replaceable battery, fully enclosed, nitrogen purged, exceeds IP68 water resistance. Definitely interested in this. |

I do have astigmatism and zero parallax is always good, but I don't think I'd be willing to give up cost or battery life (and maybe size or weight?) over a good quality regular red dot. |
