I haven't seen anyone picking up a factory slide for the Echelon yet so I thought I'd drop this here if anyone is considering one. I ordered this one last weekend and it showed up today. I wanted another compact slide assembly for my full size as a back up carry piece. The full size digs in too much while sitting. So I ordered one from a company out of Texas, Gritr sports. They only have the basic slides/assemblies (no comps yet). They had them at 320 but I found a code online that knocked another 15 bucks or so off. They also tossed in a multi caliber cleaning kit at no charge. I mounted it on my grip, added the optic, and started some dry fire. It took me a few cycles to realize the rear sight was a little weird. It came with the 3 dot tritium sights. I was thinking it would come with the u notch rear like my others. I was pleasantly surprised. I checked everywhere I know they are listed and none mention the sights that come on the slides. Attached File |
The 2nd is not about hunting, it never was. It was put in place for one reason and one reason only. You can't have them, we won't give them up, so get over it.

The U-notch rear is the cheaper standard option. I just didn't expect the upgraded sights on the slide package. Attached File |

I’m also surprised that the spare slide comes with the upgraded sights. |
