I'm a Glock guy but I held an Echelon 4.0 yesterday and think I want one or two. Seems like it is everything I make my Glocks into at great expense (Grip, sights, optic milling, trigger, etc.) My only concern would be Glock like durability and reliability. Talk me into or out of this. |

Talk me into or out of this. I have 2 myself. They've been very reliable. I'm around 2K on my 4.5, 1K on my 4.0 and no failures on either one yet. |
The 2nd is not about hunting, it never was. It was put in place for one reason and one reason only. You can't have them, we won't give them up, so get over it.

I have a 4.5F and it has been good to go. They were chosen for use by St. Louis County PD, Henderson PD, and apparently the Bulgarian Army according to Wikipedia. It's a gun that was clearly designed to compete for military/police tenders and is made by HS Produkt, the same company that makes the XD and Hellcat lines. |

I’ve heard nothing but good things about the Echelon if you’re a glock guy and haven’t tried the Gen 6 try that before you buy the echelon if you’d like to just stay with glocks if you don’t mind have multiple magazine types though, the echelon will be just fine (and admittedly significantly less aftermarket support…but that is true of pretty much any gun that isn’t glock…so…) |
