| I bought a .45 ACP nickel plated tank commander and the slide doesn't say tank commander on it. I kinda wanted it to for sentimental reasons because my dad was a tanker in the army. Do any of them, like parkerized ones, say that on the slide still? |

I had to get a replacement slide and SDS told me it would take longer than usual because they were out of stock and a shipment was on the boat from Turkey. I got the new parkerized slide this week and it is marked 1911 A1 Tank Commander.
