I accidently bought another Dan Wesson Pointman PM9 last weekend. I went to a gun show looking to sell to S&W 629s. One was a no dash which I sold outright for what I had in it and the other was a -1 which I traded for the Pointman. Worked out well. I am wondering about magazines. I have always used Wilson combat mags. They just seem to work. How are Dan Wesson mags compared to Wilsons? Thanks! |

This is Pointman PM9 #2 I have two Vigils. 99% of the shooting I have done with any of the DWs is a Vigil that I converted to 22 LR with a Nelson Conversion. I have shot the 9mm Vigil and the PM9 only a few times so I don't have a good feel for the mags but there were no issues. |

| I know in my Guardian, i had alot of problems with hot carry ammo with just about every make of magazine. I have to have very stiff mag springs to stop a weird last round in the mag jumping out causing early lock back. Never had that problem with a 1911 before . I figure its because of the alloy frame having more recoil. I changed all the springs and followers to trip research super 7 upgrades and the malfunction stopped. The wilson 8 rd springs die really quickly. |
