What holster for a S&W metal competitor 5" 9mm.Im using it on my battle belt for USPA.

The hydra P and hydra P+ has a locking system that uses a spring loaded ball bearing in a shaft that is retained by a cup with a lever. To lock simply push the cup in and rotate the lever up or down, to unlock simply flick the lever in the middle
With the lever in the down position, you’ll hit it as your get your grip, in the up position you can hit it with your thumb.

Battle belt holster seems different from a USPSA holster.

most of, if not all "battle belt" equipped shooters run Safariland holsters

I shoot USPSA with a Safariland ALS retention holster. It might slow me down a hair, but I like to maintain consistency.

RangeKinetX Carnivore. With it unlocked, you only have to defeat the weight the gun. When it’s locked, it is not going anywhere and suitable for multigun matches.
