Have one. Love it. BUT, I have a fetish for three inch guns. I've been told seek help for it. I had a three inch King Cobra first. Then the Viper came out and I went that direction. Sold the KC to a friend so it stayed in the family. The one gripe is the odd shape of the trigger guard. Not sure why Colt did that. Strictly a cosmetic thing. |

| I have one. It's very balanced, it reminds me a lot of the old Police Positive and Detective Special. It's butter smooth in double action. Sights are basic, but it isn't really a target gun in the first place. Overall, it is the smallest 357 I'd comfortably carry and am able to shoot 357s through without totally punishing my wrist. |

One of the things I have read is that the factory grips smash your knuckle between them and the trigger guard when shooting. Anyone experience this? I bought a Cobra Special (the DLC retro looking one) last summer and I love it. My first Colt revolver. I've been looking at the 3" Viper. |
