I'm not a Colt guy but last night, by sheer chance, I happened to see a video on the Kodiak so I watched it. Looks like a nice revolver. I really like the ~4" barrels lately. Some of the comments said the cylinder isn't as long as the one on the Anaconda. Says that excludes the use of some ammo: Garrett's 340gr +P was mentioned. To me, that would be so abusive to the shooter that it would be excluded anyway! Although, I know most firearms are purchased for less than MSRP, I don't know what makes it a $1500 revolver other than the little prancing horsey on the side. |

I've got them both. Very well made, very accurate and the porting makes a noticeable difference when compared to the unported Anaconda and Python. I was not a big fan of the grips. I tried to replace the Kodiak with imitation ivory from Altamont, but Altamont sent me a fucked pair without a threaded panel and won't take them back. Go Colt! Fuck Altamont! |
