Ended at $327.58 I don't know how often these pop up, but there's a Colt All American 2000 on GunBroker right now. It's been listed by GT Distributors, so it's very likely it was traded in by an agency. Issued? Confiscated? Started at $199, now at $305. Ends 9/29/2025 3:01 PM (I never remember what timezone they use). I remember seeing them in gun magazines when they first came out. I thought it looked so neat. The first run had alloy frames and a local store had one. It did my hand like a proverbial glove! It was incredible. I wanted it so bad but had an ex- wife, a child and divorce lawyers in line for my money. Turns out they weren't as reliable as intended. Would be great to have one as a range toy/ piece of Colt history, but a lousy carry piece. |

I've noticed a few of these Colt All American 9mm pistols popping up lately? I remember when they came out in early 90's. A Reed Knight & Gene Stoner design. They looked cool, and Colt was hoping these would give them a breath of fresh air in the 9mm pistol running. They were plagued with reliability issues ie rotating barrel or bolt? Only lasted a couple years before Colt discontinued them. Not sure if collectable or not. But if I wanted a shooter without frustrations I'd move on to something else. But boy did they look cool back in the day! |
I've seen them sell in the 5-600 range. My wife has one (via one of several family members who worked at Colt), and it has been very reliable. It does have the asterisk stamp on the trigger guard for whatever the particular recall was.  Colt All American 2000 |

A friend of mine has one with the polymer frame. It shoots fine and didn't have any reliability or accuracy issues in the limited amount of time I've spent with it. His is in a bit better shape than the one in the photos in this thread. I'd buy one for $350. They're a neat design. |

It's definitely collectible. Just because it didn't sell for a lot of money, doesn't mean it's not an interesting tidbit of the 1990s.
