I was approached this morning by a friend who wants to sell this. I have no interest and told him maybe its worth $150. He got it from his dad and it hasn't been shot in 30+ years. Original holster that it came with. I can't tell the year on it, he thinks 1915.

| Soak it in Kroil, scrub it carefully with REAL Choir Boy copper pads and clean all the active rust off it. You may be surprised how much better it looks. Be VERY careful with the grips. |

I have one of those. It is the first semi auto I ever shot. Snuck it out of hiding spot in mom's sewing room. I would pay $150 for that, but it's probably worth twice or three times that if given the loving other posters (above) suggest. BTW, if your guns are not locked in a safe, your favorite son knows where they are hidden. |

I have a 1908 that is in slightly better condition. Same story with leather. It was my great grandfather's. I scratched the blueing up a bit when the rust flakes embedded in my oil rag. Broke my heart when I did that. It's probably worth the $150-250. The old 03s and 08s were magnificent works of art. |
