I just got my Centurion 14 (2024 serial) in yesterday. I like it. First thing, pulled out the mag safety; what an abomination. I cleaned, inspected, and lubed it; took it out and ran 3 magazines (45 rounds) through it. I forgot to note the ejection pattern; sorry! ?? It ran 100% reliable, a very strong performance. It didn't "barely run", or run weakly, etc. It ran really well with clean feeding and strong extraction. It has a discernable trigger reset like the Inglis, and also like the Inglis it has a very clean, crisp trigger. The term is overused; but I mean no travel or creep before breaking; sharp as a tuned 1911. After burnishing, the trigger break is a consistent 4.5-5 lbs. Sights are quite visible with a very clean sight picture. Dead on target, and the gun seems very accurate. I was hitting the hostage-taker target with no problems. The extractor moves freely, with good tension. Barrel to slide fit is tight, and slide to frame has spot-on clearances, not too tight or loose. I like it a lot, and will happily carry it after some more rounds go down the pipe. Negatives: It's not quite a cleanly machined as the Inglis or an FN. The sear lever seems to be rubbing on the sear when the slide is cycled. The safety is small, rough, and difficult to set, in other words faithful to the original. The hammer looks like the coating is rubbing off; the finish looks more like stove paint than cerakote. I will probably replace the safety with an extended model, and the sear lever with BHSprings improved model with spring. I'll probably put in a reduced mainspring trying for a 4# pull. I'll dress it up with some grips, and probably call it good. If I decide to make it my main carry GP35 I'll think about putting some combat sights on it, but I do like the set it comes with. I don't know what dovetail this slide uses. That's my 8th GP35 in the stable, still need the Tisas model. No hurry. BTW; The Alpha-14 has the same factory code as the Centurion. Same gun with different markings. |

| I got one when they were $299. Runs fine just like yours. I didn’t know that I was a clone collector, but here we are. I just need the new Inglis. I’ll eventually get the case hardened one. |

| I was literally getting ready to buy one when I saw a like new Inglis in the used case for $250. One thing I didn't appreciate about the Centurions was the tendency of the finish to not be complete, especially on the inside of the dust cover. Online reviews noted it, and the one I was looking at was bare metal too. |
